As an eco-friendly hotel, we believe that we can make a difference, if only on a small scale, and as a guest at Ivy Court, you will too. We’ve implemented a variety of eco-friendly practices as part of our renovation.

To help us save water, you can choose to reuse your sheets and towels throughout your stay. Once our linens have completed their first life, we give them another purpose by turning retired sheets into cloth laundry bags and old towels into cleaning cloths.

Our unique rooms are lit with compact fluorescent bulbs to help save power, and we suggest our guests turn off the lights and televisions and close the drapes when they leave the hotel room to help even more. We also offer recycling bins in all rooms. Our biodegradable toiletries are good for your hair and skin and kind to the environment.

As a guest, you will be given a Green-Key™, an environmentally friendly alternative to the traditional plastic hotel keycard. Unlike plastic keycards, Green-Key™ is recyclable, biodegradable, and produced from paperboard, a renewable resource.

Our non-foam coffee cups help you stay caffeinated on the go while still being eco-friendly.

We’re also proud to give back through Recycling to Those in Need, an organization that takes our gently used soaps, cleans them, and sends them to impoverished countries.

Ivy Court Inn & Suites is also a proud provider of the Better World Books Drop Off Box™. Every book you drop off will be put to good use. Books are sold online to help raise funds for awesome non-profit literacy organizations changing the world through teaching kids, supporting families, building schools, and filling libraries. In fact, 5% - 20% of the net sale price of every book goes to these great causes. Any books we can’t sell are either donated directly to one of our non-profit partners or recycled.
